4 months ago Guy and Kirsten were blessed with a gorgeous baby girl Hallie! Not long after Hallie was born she was diagnosed with Noonan Syndrome (PTPN11 variant c.181G>A). Some of the medical issues that can be related to Noonan Syndrome are

Congential Heart Disease (usually aortic or pulmonary issues) in which Hallie has recently be found to have. Other symptons can be kidney abnormailities, hearing and eyesight problems, autism, delayed growth and developmental delays, hypotonia, liver issues and bleeding problems. Today this beautiful family were hit with more bad news as the oncologists at Westmeads Childrens Hospital have found a rare cancer tumour known as a congenital mesoblastic nephroma (found in 3 - 5% of child renal tumours) in Hallies left kidney. The treatment for now is surgery to most likely remove the whole kidney due to its size and position.

The family will have a lot of additional costs coming up (travel, accomodation, reduced income due to time off work) while Hallie gets her treatment . This money will help relieve financial concerns for them while they focus on Hallie getting better.
