Help Baby Gracie Fight RSV
Donation protected
Hi my name is Maria Zappitelli fundraising for and with my best friends Brittany Tate and Ryan Hatton for their beautiful baby daughter Miss Gracie
She’s been in the hospital since 10/23 after turning blue and not breathing normally at home. She was diagnosed with RSV at 2weeks old and still remains in the PICU. She’s now 6 weeks old, and this beautiful family is needing your help!! The funds would be assisting them in ways such as Ryan isn’t able to work as much as he normally would be due to needing to take turns being up at the hospital there for Gracie and Brit. Brittany has had to extend her maternity leave -unpaidThey are constantly driving back and forth with both vehicles from Painesville to Cleveland and having to pay for parking Daily. This little beauty was just two weeks old when she went into the hospital, they never for a minute expected her to be in the hospital for a month now without a projected date of coming home at this time
The hospital bills are going to be monstrous with all of the specialized care little Gracie has needed
Brit and Ryan are still having to pay for their normal monthly bills with way less income and lastly they have 5 other beautiful children that need to be cared for when they are unable to be home at the hospital trying to support Gracie with the fight of her little life❤️♥️
Please Please in this Giving season help me raise funds to help this beautiful family to be able to meet all their needs at this time so they can be at Miss Gracie’s side!!
More of Miss Gracie’s story from her wonderful mother
I am asking for some prayers !! My poor baby girl was rushed to the ER on 10/23 (two weeks old at the time, perfectly healthy after birth), she was working really hard to breathe, retractions and very lethargic. Scariest drive of my life wondering if she was still breathing as I had to drive 30 mins. When we got to the hospital, it was about 3 mins from desk to room. Her oxygen was in the 80s and at that time she was immediately put on nasal cannula and it shot up to 98%. I was so scared as she wasn’t a great shade of color, I was alone and crying and crying. My hubby had to stay with our other kids. She was swabbed and was RSV positive. We got transported from that hospital to another hospital 25 mins away , once the critical care transport came, they put her in this little incubator and off we went. She got admitted to immediate care on high flow but it wasn’t helping her, she needed more so they moved her up to the PICU and that Tuesday morning she was intubated on really high settings. They had to pump her full of fluids just to make sure she could maintain the high settings she needed. They tried to extubate her twice with fail. The 3rd time they had to intubate was the most traumatic as her left lung collapsed and she turned blue and it was almost an emergent situation. Having been already completely traumatized at this point…. She is still intubated. She’s come such a long way from 4 weeks ago. She has a central line, she had an arterial line but they took that out. She has a feeding tube, a nava. She’s been through it. I just need some positive vibes and praying that she can pass these cpap trials to be able to get this tube out for the last time and keep it out and be on her way to recovery and home soon. It’s been a really long almost 4 weeks. Please pray for my baby girl and my family ❤️❤️❤️
