My beloved dog Baby, who is 10 years old, means the world to me. Recently, Baby began crying out in pain, which led me to rush him to the vet. The vet recommended X-rays, bloodwork, and pain medication. I couldn’t afford all the testing at once, but thanks to the kindness of a few amazing people, I was able to get bloodwork done and start him on pain medication. The vet was so caring he gave him X-rays at no cost. His bloodwork came back mostly normal, showing only a mild inflammation or infection. However, the X-rays revealed IVDD and a large mass in his stomach. At this time, the mass isn’t causing immediate pain, but the vet strongly advised further testing to determine if it’s cancerous or something treatable or removable.
The next round of testing is critical so we can make informed decisions about Baby’s care and ensure he doesn’t suffer unnecessarily. My goal is to give him comfort, dignity, and the best chance possible. Baby still has so much life and love left, and I want to do everything I can for him.
Any donation, share, or kind word means more than I can express. I will be adding pictures of Baby’s last vet visit to keep everyone updated. Thank you for helping me care for Baby during this incredibly difficult time. With gratitude, Isabel & Baby
