Help Adam and Megan with Emmett’s NICU Care & family travel
Donation protected
On March 18, baby Emmett made his early arrival into the world at just 3 pounds due to complications, requiring an emergency C-section at 34 weeks. Born in San Antonio, Emmett is being lovingly adopted by my sister Megan, her husband Adam, and their daughter Evelyn, who live in Colorado.
Although tiny, Emmett’s spirit is mighty. He has a long road ahead of him, facing weeks of growth and healing in the NICU before he can finally come home with his new family. His doctors predict he will need to stay in the NICU for 6-8 weeks, and with his extensive healthcare needs, as well as the travel required to care for him, the costs of his care are significant.
This is where we need your help. We want Megan and Adam to be able to focus entirely on Emmett's care without the burden of financial stress. To ease their journey, I’ve started this GoFundMe to support the expenses of his NICU care, as well as the travel costs for Megan and Adam as they shuttle between Colorado and Texas.
With their hearts and hands full caring for Emmett, they also want to make sure that their daughter Evelyn has stability at home, which means weekly travel between the two states for the foreseeable future.
Your donation, no matter how small, will help them stay by their precious son's side through his recovery. Together, we can ease their financial worries and allow them to focus on what matters most: helping Emmett grow stronger and preparing for the day he finally joins their loving family at home.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and generosity during this challenging time. Every contribution makes a difference in Emmett's journey.
