I came across my friend, Brittany MacDonald ( and fiancé (dad) Ross MacInnis) announcement last night about their baby boy Emerson’s diagnosis with a rare condition (Unilateral Coronal Craniosynostosis). There are only 30-40 cases annually Canada wide (more commonly found in girls). Essentially, Emerson was born with a small soft spot causing it to close too early.

Emerson was referred to the IWK paediatric neurosurgery team where he will end up having surgery to release the fused bone and allow his brain the space it needs to grow.

Baby Emerson needs your help with costs so both of his parents can be with him worry free.
