Hi, my name is Jandy Tecson. I’m a husband, father of two, and a personal trainer who works with entrepreneurs and families to improve their strength and mobility. I’m starting this GoFundMe for my newborn son, Dylan, who was born with a serious heart condition that requires urgent medical intervention and surgery.

Dylan is just a few months old and has already been through more than most people experience in a lifetime. He needs ongoing care and 2 life-saving heart surgeries in the United States. While we are doing everything we can as a family, we are currently based in the Philippines, and the costs of travel, insurance enrollment, medical procedures, and recovery are more than we can manage on our own.

This is the most vulnerable I’ve ever been, but I’m asking for help so we can give our son the best chance at life. Your donations will go toward:

• Medical travel expenses to California

• Emergency insurance and hospital intake

• Surgery-related costs and recovery

• Basic living costs while we are out of work to care for him
