Baby Dane is one of the strongest little fighters you’ll ever meet. Born with a rare and complex congenital heart condition called Shone’s Complex, Dane has faced more in his short life than most of us will ever experience.

Since birth, his days have been filled with cardiology appointments, procedures, hospital stays, and constant monitoring — all while his family has remained unwavering in their love, hope, and strength beside him.

Recently, Dane’s doctors discovered a significant decline in his heart function. Because of this, the medical team has begun the process of placing him on the heart transplant list — a step no parent ever wants to face, but one that now offers the best chance for Dane’s future.

Right now, Dane is stable and still shining his beautiful smile, but the road ahead will be long and uncertain. A heart transplant journey brings:
