Help Cashew Walk Again
My sweet cat Cashew is only 3 years old, and she means the world to me. I adopted her from a shelter when she was just 4 months old, and ever since then, she’s been my closest companion and my only family here in Montreal. She is my best friend, my source of love, comfort, and inspiration.
Just two weeks ago, Cashew got startled by a loud sound, jumped off a stepstool, and landed badly on her left knee. She screamed in pain and couldn’t move her leg, so I rushed her to the emergency vet. At first, we hoped it was just a bad sprain, but after multiple vet visits and exams (already costing about $2,000), an orthopedic specialist diagnosed her with a completely torn ligament in her knee.
Cashew urgently needs a TPLO surgery to repair her knee — without it, she will face severe pain, arthritis, and lifelong complications. The surgery costs $6,100, and I simply cannot cover it alone.
That’s why I’m reaching out for help. My goal is to raise $5,000 to give Cashew the surgery she needs so she can run, play, and live a long, happy, pain-free life.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to saving Cashew’s future. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser.
From the bottom of my heart — thank you for helping me give my baby girl a chance to walk and play again. ❤️
