Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We are Alex and Merrill, and we recently welcomed our first child, Cash, into the world. Though we had imagined a joyful, smooth beginning, life had other plans. Due to underlying medical complications, Cash had to be delivered early at just 33 weeks. Our sweet boy is a fighter, but as a premature baby, he faces many medical challenges ahead.

Every day, we watch him bravely fight to grow stronger in the NICU, surrounded by monitors, tubes, and the caring hands of doctors and nurses. As parents, it's both heartbreaking and awe-inspiring to see someone so small show such incredible strength.

We know Cash has a long road ahead, but we also know he is full of resilience and hope. Our greatest wish is to give him every opportunity to thrive, to bring him home healthy and safe, and to watch him grow into the amazing little boy we know he will be.
