Out of all the stray dogs in Turkey, Caramel chose us. He followed us everywhere we went and stayed close to our side seeking comfort in our kindness. He tugged at our heartstrings and made it impossible for us to leave him to fend for himself on the busy roads. He deserves a good loving family as he is such a good boy. We made the last minute decision to bring him home. We have paid for his microchip, rabies injection and passport. Now he is in quarantine and we need to pay for his care and to get him over to the UK. Caramel is one of the lucky ones. We wish we could help them all!

UPDATE: Caramel is still with his foster mum, Jeannie, and has had his bloods done, at an additional cost of £250 , his monthly fostering costs are £130 per month , and wil have to stay in Turkey for 3 months ,prior to being transported to the UK. Costs are so much more than anticipated.... I agreed to do this thinking it would cost no more than £500!!! How stupid and naive am I??? Don't answer.... I feel like I'm stuck now ... do I say no, I really cannot afford the £2,200 its going to cost and abandon Caramel???? No, I'm not that sort of a person, I know its a huge ask to keep asking for help to do this, but PLEASE PLEASE help. I really cannot do this on my own.... I know its my fault.... but I am asking for help to save a little puppy from inevitable death and cruelty. Please please help with whatever you can. Even if its just £5.
