Support for Baby Brandon — Born at 26 Weeks, NICU Journey & Family in Crisis
Hi, my name is Carolyn Willis, and I’m fundraising for my son Jesse and his family, who are facing one of the most difficult seasons of their lives.
On May 30, 2025, our precious Brandon Ronald Willis was born at just 26 weeks gestation, weighing only 1 pound 7 ounces and measuring 13 inches long. He is currently in the NICU, fighting hard every day, and is expected to stay there until at least September.
Brandon’s early arrival was due to a medical emergency — his mom developed preeclampsia, a serious pregnancy complication. Sadly, after birth, she has continued to suffer from posteclampsia, which is extremely painful and dangerous. She is still recovering and under close medical supervision while trying to care for her newborn and her other children.
Both parents are currently off work to care for Baby Brandon and their two other small children — Jack (2 years old) and Abbie (1 year old). The hospital is 55 miles away one way, and they are making daily trips, which is exhausting and financially overwhelming.
We are raising funds to help them with:
• Gas for the long hospital trips
• Food during hospital stays
• Basic needs for Jack and Abbie
• Support for mom’s ongoing medical care
Any help is a gift. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping Baby Brandon and his family in your prayers.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you
