Our sweet little 6 month old kitten Baby Billy was struck very ill last night (October 9) with vomiting, lethargy, and no appetite and needed to be rushed to the emergency vet. Baby Billy (affectionately called BB or Beebuz) stayed at the emergency vet all night on fluids to try and pass a blockage in his stomach on his own, but his stomach is too swollen and full of gas, and surgery is all that can fix it. Today (October 10) he is having stomach surgery, as the vet found foreign bodies either in his stomach or intestine that they need to remove. Unfortunately there’s no other option but to perform surgery. Now, Baby Billy is a notorious fraudster and dirty dog (well, kitten) but we do feel that this time, his trials and tribulations are to be believed. Max and I implore our friends and family to give anything they can to ensure our little Baby Billy is able to get back to his kitty trivia show, Baby Billy’s Bauble Bonkers. Anything you can give helps and we are grateful no matter what, even for just kind thoughts and words.
