Jodie and Thomas Arminski are the proud parents of our beautiful grandson, Benjamin "Benji" Arminski. Born on January 12th, Benji arrived full-term but faced complications during labor, leading to his stay in the NICU. On January 19th, our world was shaken when we learned that Benji had an Intraventricular hemorrhage (brain bleed), necessitating his immediate transfer to a children's hospital.

As first-time parents, Jodie and Thomas are navigating this traumatic experience with courage and hope. The unforeseen medical expenses, daily travel costs, and the uncertainty of Benji's condition have been overwhelming. We don't know when Benji will be able to come home, as his diagnosis comes with no set timeline. However, we remain hopeful as he continues to progress and defy the odds.

Timeline of my Journey by my mommy

-January 12th 8:46pm

I had the most beautiful boy by emergency c-section. 6 lbs 4.5 oz 19.88 inches.

Immediately put on CPAP due to meconium and transferred to the NICU.

- January 13th taken off of CPAP machine because he was able to breath on his own

- January 16th feeding tube was taken out but began to have a fever

- January 17th head ultrasound, spinal tap, X-ray and kidney ultrasound. The day we were told it’s a grade 1 IVH

- January 18th MRI

- January 19th severe brain hemorrhage (brain bleed), transferred to cooks children’s hospital in Fort Worth, had an MRI and EEG for 23 hours.

- January 20th confirmed the MRI shows a severe brain hemorrhage (brain bleed), no signs of seizures on the EEG
