Help Baby Avery's Family with Medical Expenses

Hello. I, Heather Martin, and my husband, Rick Martin, are organizing this for our cousins, Devon Martin and Ashley Steele. Their wonderful baby girl has been diagnosed with a rare birth defect. The diagnosis is Myelomeningocele Spina Bifida which is currently being treated in Baltimore, MD by a team of 40 doctors at Johns Hopkins Hospital. They have to very routinely take extended trips for appointments to Baltimore from their home in Fairmont, WV. They are also working with Kennedy Krieger Institute for assistance with medical devices and learning about life with the condition. Their daughter Avery will need to have surgery as soon as she is born to cover the open lesion on her back to prevent infection and further damage.  They will be temporarily displaced starting in July for approximately 2 months. There will be a slew of appointments following Baby Avery's arrival. An elimination dinner will take place in Mannington, WV on Saturday, July 27th at 7pm. There will be items to win (through purchasing tickets) in addition to the ticket. All profits of this event will go directly to the Baby Avery's Benefit Fund.
