Hello Everyone,
One of our valued staff members is reaching out for support as their baby boy arrived at 24 weeks, below is their story. If you can, any donation is appreciated.
My name is Marlon, and my wife and I are reaching out with hearts full of love and hope. We’re raising funds for our newborn son, Atom, who came into the world far earlier than expected—born at just 24 weeks, weighing only 0.59 kg. He is what doctors call a micro-preemie, but to us, he is a true miracle.
From the moment he arrived, Atom has shown a strength and courage that humbles us as parents. His tiny chest rises and falls with the help of machines, and his days are filled with wires, softly beeping monitors, and the gentle care of NICU nurses. Every breath he takes is a battle—and a blessing.
This is a deeply personal and emotional journey for us. Nothing could have prepared us for seeing our baby this way, fighting so hard just to survive. And yet, even in the face of uncertainty, Atom holds on. His little fingers wrap around ours with surprising strength, reminding us every day that no matter how small he is, his will is mighty.
As you can imagine, the emotional and financial toll of this journey is overwhelming. The NICU stay is expected to last several months, and there are additional costs for specialised care, medications, transportation, and time away from work to be by Atom’s side.
That’s why I’m here, asking for your support. Whether it’s through a donation, a share, or a prayer, every bit of kindness helps us give Atom the fighting chance he deserves.
We are incredibly grateful for your kindness, compassion, and encouragement during this fragile time. Atom has already shown us what it means to be strong, and with your help, we believe he can continue to beat the odds.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
With love and hope,
Marlon, my wife, and our little fighter Atom
