On December 15th, at 9:50 am this little girl decided to make her entrance into this crazy world. Little miss A’ryiah Jade just could not wait any more. She was born at 24 weeks and 1 day gestation weighing 1 pound 6.5 oz, due to an incompetent cervix.

She was born with a small hole in her heart. As she got bigger it did too. They have given her multiple medications at Saint Vincent where she was born at, but none of those medicines seemed  to work. It has gotten much larger since then. Today she was flown out to Pittsburgh childrens hospital by helicopter to have a procedure done called pda ligation. 

That procedure is done by putting a heart cath through her groin area and putting it up to her heart to plug it. My little peanut has been through so much already and we still have a long road ahead of us. 

Mom has been out of work since December first on medical leave going back and fourth from the hospital to home to care for her other little one. As you may know times are getting a little tough. The bills are adding up, and gas driving back and fourth all day. 

This little princess also has a stage 2 brain bleed on her right side. That they have been monitoring. Hoping it will go away on its own.
