What should have been a peaceful, loving life for 6-week-old Amelia, the unthinkable happened.

Amelia, a beautiful, innocent baby girl, was brutally and senselessly hurt at the hands of her own father over the course of her extremely short life. She was rushed to the hospital where doctors discovered a fractured skull, requiring emergency surgery. Further scans revealed the heartbreaking truth: multiple other fractures throughout her tiny, defenseless body, injuries no child should ever suffer.

Amelia’s mother is completely shattered. In an instant, the life she dreamed of with her daughter was replaced by fear, pain, and a long road to healing. Mom was shattered in ways no one could see, holding pieces of herself together with resilience. Her world had fallen apart, but she stood anyway, because her baby needed someone who wouldn’t, but she cannot do this alone.

She is facing overwhelming medical bills, and the emotional strain of helping her baby recover from trauma no 6-week-old should ever know. From hospital stays to follow-up care, the costs are stacking up faster than she can manage.
