My name is Bethany, and right now I am at Boston Children's Hospital NICU with my baby boy, Amari. He was recently diagnosed with Biliary Atresia, and tomorrow I’ll find out if he needs surgery. The past few days have been a whirlwind of emotions and uncertainty, and it’s been incredibly hard. I’m doing everything I can to stay strong for Amari and his brothers, who are anxiously waiting for him to come home.
Being away from home has brought unexpected expenses—traveling back and forth to the hospital, paying for food while I’m here, and preparing for the extra baby supplies Amari will need when he finally comes home. Because of Amari’s needs, I have also fallen behind on a few bills, which has added to the stress. I want to make sure he has everything he needs for a safe and healthy recovery, but the financial strain is starting to add up. Any support you can offer would mean the world to us and help ease some of the stress during this difficult time.
Amari’s brothers miss him dearly, and I want nothing more than to have our family together again. Please keep Amari in your prayers, and thank you for taking the time to read our story. Your kindness and support will help us get through this and give Amari the best chance at a happy, healthy life.
