Hi my names is Miriam .We are grandparents who adore our granddaughter Zoe .That’s where the name of our dream project comes from-Babka a Dedušo (Grandma and Grandpa).I’ve been working since I was 14 years old.I’m now 52.My whole life,I’ve worked hard-often 7 days a week-always for someone else.One day, I simply said:enough is enough. I don’t want to wake up tired and go to another job that brings me no joy. I want to wake up with a smile-next to my granddaughter,watching her grow,laugh and live.Together with my husband Jozef we a dream:to open a small family-run Slovak kitchen near our daughter and Zoe .A place where we can cook with love and serve homemade food that tastes like home .Recently, I also found out that I was born without my right kidney. It was a shock - but i am still here , fighting, and I know : it’s not too late to live life on my own terms.Help us create a warm, peaceful place where soup and cake smell like childhood, and family is always welcome. Even if i have repay the loan slowly myself - I’ll do it. Because I want to live with the people I love.We don’t live in luxury but we have heart.
