Brooklyn's favorite hair-stylist-drag-queen-dj-producer-promoter-beloved-friend multihyphenate BABES (Jason Vieira) is in need of community support. His mother Maria is facing critical health conditions all the way home in Sydney and Babes is traveling across the globe to go be with his family at this time.

Maria had a fall due to a brain bleed and is fortunately in the hands of Australia's great healthcare system, but she faces potentially scary and not yet known outcomes. We all hope for the best and send her so much love and prayers for a full recovery.

In the meantime, Babes has pricy plane tickets and will miss a lot of work during his time away. Babes works incredibly hard for everything he has, and everything he has he shares with those around him. We want him to be able to focus on his family and not worry for a moment about his finances during this difficult time.

Babes does so much for the queer community here in New York which he holds so dearly to his heart. His light and love radiate undeniably upon all who meet him. The only thing more delightful than the sound of his laugh is how much he makes the rest of us laugh. From organizing parties to bring us all together, to coming out to support his friends in all their pursuits, Babes puts togetherness and community at the center of his life.
