Help Baba Rebuild her Home Destroyed by Fire
Donation protected
Genevieve "Gerry" Reboul is a kind and loving woman that lives on a fixed income after working incredibly hard her whole life. She never hesitates to help a friend in need or contribute to her church, and has spent her life finding ways to give back to her community. She is also the most wonderful Mother-in-Love a girl could ever ask for! Many of you know her as the "Tupperware Lady", diligently manning her booth on summer weekends at Sporty's. However, to her friends and family she is affectionately known as "Baba".
At 87 years old, Baba's happy place is her home on the farm that has been in her family for more than 115 years. Tragically, there was recently a large fire that destroyed all of the structures on the property (including her residence) and all of her belongings. Nothing was spared. Unfortunately, the insurance will only cover a small fraction of clearing away the remains, repairing damage to the well and septic system, and rebuilding her residence.
Thankfully, family and friends are pitching in to provide some of the physical labor needed to clear the property. However, the estimated costs to rebuild just the residence with the necessary utility repairs will exceed $200,000. The family mementos that were lost can never be replaced. Therefore, the goal is to rebuild as soon as possible, so that Baba can spend her remaining years building new memories.
The Reboul Family thanks you for reading Baba's story. Any donations to this fund will be greatly appreciated.
