Help BAB serve all of Brooklyn and hire staff!

Hi, my name is Autumn! You rarely see me as I'm usually tethered to the kitchen, but you probably all know my partner Brian. He's the guy that delivered you a bag of hot goods filled with all the yeasty bread smells anyone could ask for!

If you haven't followed us from day one, I won't bore you with the details of how it started. I will say that it began with one sourdough starter that made numerous loaves of free bread for seniors, which then grew into a complete baked goods menu that served an entire community. Our goal from the beginning has always been to surpass any expectations of our makeshift home bakery and ultimately make our neighbors happy in what was a bleak time. Despite how fast our goods traveled throughout the community, we have been fighting an uphill battle when it came to moving our business out of our home.

We recently stumbled upon the opportunity to build a kitchen on the lower level of the cutest Brooklyn dive bar ever! When the bar opens, we'll be handling the food, as well as pumping out our usual bread and pastry program in the mornings. Unfortunately, we have come to a point where we can no longer continue without a few key elements like STAFF, and the proper equipment. As you all know, we are deeply devoted to delivering the freshest goods and pastries to ALL OF BROOKLYN. However, we are running into countless issues trying to tackle such a task with a whopping team of two! We also have considered your numerous requests for us to carry all your favorite items on our menu. Nothing makes us happier than making you happy! Unfortunately, we are missing a few key elements that would help make all of your baked good dreams a reality! We are in dire need of a working walk-in refrigerator, a larger oven, a dough sheeter (the thing that should be making Angel Donuts, Ube Morning Buns, Pie Dough, and just about every flaky, delicious bite on our menu that I've been rolling out by hand!) and most of all STAFF!

With your help, we hope to properly build out our new workspace, expand our delivery program, hire a team to help us reopen and fulfill walk-in service, and hire a dishwasher so that we can spend more time creating and baking all of your favorite dishes! It's been our pleasure to serve Brooklyn for the last 2.5 years, and there's no place we would rather be. However, we can not continue this journey without acquiring the proper equipment and expanding our team.
