My name is Jessica, and I’m a mom doing everything I can right now for my son.
My 13-year-old son was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma. This all happened very quickly, and within days we were scheduling a PET scan, port placement, and preparing to begin chemotherapy on May 1, 2026.
If you know my son, you know how special he is. He is incredibly sweet and caring, always putting others before himself. He’s funny, charming, charismatic, and beyond respectful. He’s the kind of kid who helps without being asked and pays attention to the little things. He truly has a heart that stands out, and right now he’s facing something no child should have to.
As his mom, I will be taking a medical leave from work to be by his side through treatment. During this time, I am asking for help to cover the ongoing costs associated with his care, including transportation to and from treatments, hospital-related expenses, parking, tolls, and other medical needs that come along with chemotherapy.
This is not easy for me to ask, but my focus is making sure he has everything he needs during this fight and that I can be present for him every step of the way.
Any support, whether through a donation or simply sharing this, truly means more than I can express.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for keeping my son in your thoughts.
