Hi! I'm raising funds for Azzam AlQahwaji, who wants to escape with his family to Egypt. Azzam and his 20 family members, including several children no older than 11 years old, have been displaced from their Home to Rafah, Palestine. They have been travelling to Khan Yunis.

Their home was demolished, and their family shops were robbed and then destroyed. They are facing horrific famine, lack of healthcare and risk of death at every corner. Azzam is the only survivor of a massacre at his grandfather's house, where children and adults in his family alike were killed. This tragedy also left him 80% Deaf and struggling to look after children ranging from 7 months old to 9 years old.

His mother suffers from Chronic Asthma, and she has no access to inhalers to relieve her breathing, which becomes very difficult for her due to the Cold and dust. Azzam fears he will lose her, As well as his family members, who have been burned and injured and do not have secure access to food and water.

After all the loss Azzam and his family have suffered, they are experiencing heavy psychological trauma and are desperate to escape to Egypt to receive treatment and to survive. Please help him and his family, who have already had to endure enough loss for a thousand lifetimes.

UPDATE: Azzam had injured his legs and was rendered unable to walk for a time, but his legs are starting to heal. Besides this, he has contracted an Orthopaedic Flu and is struggling to maintain strength. The money donated has gone towards buying food for himself and his family, as prices have gone to incredible heights for the simplest products.
