Help Azuri get Accepted into USC for Film!

Donation protected
Hi! I’m Azuri Vallatine, a 16-year-old girl from California. I’m thrilled to share that I was selected as one of ten girls from a pool of 250 to become a Teen Director in an organization called Black Girls Film Camp’s for their 2024 Cohort! This incredible program has empowered young Black girls, including myself, to tell their own stories through a 16-week program.

From this program, I created my short film, “Self-Belief Symphony,” which has became an award-winning film and been featured in prestigious festivals like the Micheaux Film Festival and the Imagine This Women’s Film Festival. However, my film journey doesn’t stop here! As a high school senior, I’m excited to continue my directing path and I plan to apply for USC’s BFA Film & Television Program with my upcoming short film. To bring my vision to life, I’m responsible for covering all production costs—from cinematography and production design to location and editing. This project is incredibly important to me, and I’m committed to making it the best it can be to help me achieve my dream of attending USC. Any support through donations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your consideration!
