Help Azura Lotus in Her Fight for Recovery

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Hearts,

My name is Monique Pitner, and I am reaching out to you during an unimaginable time for my family and me. My beautiful 3-month-old daughter, Azura Lotus, has been admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Erlanger Children’s Hospital following a tragic incident. Since March 26th, she has been intubated and placed in a medically induced coma due to swelling on her brain. As her mother, my heart is heavy, and I am struggling to navigate this incredibly difficult situation.

Azura is the light of our lives, and watching her struggle is a pain I can hardly put into words. During this critical time, I have made the difficult decision to step away from working temporarily to be by her side, providing her with the love, support, and comfort she needs to heal. Unfortunately, this means that my family is facing significant financial strain as we navigate medical bills and everyday living expenses.

The funds raised will go directly toward:

- Housing costs while I remain away from home

- Basic necessities for myself and our family during this challenging time

- Transportation expenses to and from the hospital

- Medical expenses and costs related to Azura’s ongoing treatment and care
