Help Us Get Azula the Surgery She Urgently Needs

Today we took our beloved dog Azula to the emergency vet after she injured herself while playing at the park. Unfortunately, we learned that she tore the ligaments in her knee (the circled area in the attached anatomy diagram), and she now requires urgent Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) surgery. The estimated cost of her treatment is nearly $9,000.

Azula has been a cherished part of our family since we rescued her at the age of one. For the past five years, she has also been a service dog for my mom, offering emotional support and companionship through life’s challenges. She’s not just a pet—she’s family. Her presence has brought comfort, security, and love into our home, especially for my mom and little brothers.

Azula is a happy, outgoing, and deeply loving dog. She has always been healthy, up to date on all her vaccinations, and full of life. This sudden injury has left us devastated and unprepared for the financial burden it brings.
