Azul is our sweet and loving Husky who joined our family just under two years ago as a birthday gift for my daughter. He quickly became her best friend and a cherished part of our lives. Azul’s gentle nature and affectionate personality have brought so much joy to our home, and he means the world to us.

On Friday, Azul started showing signs of illness—vomiting and diarrhea—which we initially thought might be due to his sensitive stomach. When he stopped eating and even began throwing up water, we rushed him to the vet on Saturday. Things became more serious when he started having blood in his diarrhea. The vet gave us medicine to help with his symptoms, but Azul still refuses to eat and remains very lethargic. We’ve tried syringe-feeding him high-calorie food, but he continues to struggle.

Azul now needs urgent blood work, x-rays, and likely surgery to find out what’s wrong and give him the best chance at recovery. The costs are adding up quickly, and we want to do everything possible to help him heal and return to the happy, loving dog he’s always been.
