Hello everyone, this is my niece Azucena. She just turned 23 years old and is a student at Texas Tech, awaiting to graduate in May of 2027! However, life has thrown her a curveball yet again. She was also just diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Synovial Sarcoma Lung Cancer. This is unfortunately the second time after she beat cancer just 3 years ago.

We are asking for any donations people feel in their heart to give, as you know these treatments are extremely expensive and also take a toll on the family's finances since she will be missing work and my sister will also have to be gone from work to help her since the hospital is 3 hours away.

Not only did they get this devastating news, but also my brother-in-law was unlawfully detained by Customs and Border Protection when he was on his way home from working out of state to attend Azucena's doctor's appointment. Meaning they have lost one income completely, plus adding lawyer costs to all of this.

Hola a todos, ella es mi sobrina Azucena. Acaba de cumplir 23 años y es estudiante en Texas Tech, ¡a la espera de graduarse en mayo de 2027! Sin embargo, la vida le ha vuelto a poner una dura prueba en el camino. Acaba de ser diagnosticada con cáncer de pulmón: un sarcoma sinovial metastásico en etapa 4. Lamentablemente, esta es la segunda vez que enfrenta esta enfermedad, después de haber vencido al cáncer hace apenas tres años.

Solicitamos cualquier donación que nazca de la generosidad de sus corazones; como bien saben, estos tratamientos son extremadamente costosos y representan una gran carga para las finanzas familiares, ya que Azucena no podrá asistir a su trabajo y mi hermana también tendrá que ausentarse del suyo para cuidarla, dado que el hospital se encuentra a tres horas de distancia.

No solo han tenido que afrontar esta devastadora noticia, sino que, además, mi cuñado fue detenido ilegalmente por la Oficina de Aduanas y Protección Fronteriza cuando regresaba a casa —tras haber estado trabajando fuera del estado— para asistir a la cita médica de Azucena. Esto significa que han perdido por completo una de sus fuentes de ingresos, sumando ahora a todo ello los gastos de abogados.
