Help Azteca's Reopen in New Ulm

Hi all ... I'm starting this Go Fund Me on behalf of Ab Perdomo, the owner of Azteca's Mexican Restaurant in New Ulm, Minnesota. When Azteca's opened, it brought to our community some of the best authentic Mexican food in southern Minnesota. The restaurant quickly became a delicious island in a sea of pizza and burger joints.

Unfortunately, the economic climate for small businesses, including Azteca's, has become very difficult. Rising food costs, increasing rents, and a disappearing hiring pool have taken their toll. Azteca's has had to temporarily close to regain its footing.

Ab is a humble person and it was difficult for him to come forward and ask for help. In addition to Ab seeking a loan, I asked him if it would be OK to start a Go Fund Me to help get Azteca's doors reopened. Additionally, being an immigrant who speaks limited English provides its own unique challenges for Ab.
