Help AZA Bring Moroccan Amazigh Music to the World Stage in Morocco!
After more than 20 years of sharing the powerful rhythms and spirit of North African music with international audiences, AZA has been invited to perform at an important global showcase in Morocco this November— and we need your help to get there!
Who We Are
AZA unites traditional Moroccan Amazigh music with the global influences of its diverse members, creating a sound that’s both deeply rooted and universally resonant. Drawing from indigenous Moroccan musical styles like Ahwash, Rwais, and Gnawa, our music has danceable rhythms, intricate melodies, and soulful vocals.
Over the years, AZA has been recognized as more than just a musical band, but also as cultural ambassadors who shine a light on Amazigh culture to be celebrated with the rest of the world.
Why This Matters
AZA will be performing for producers and promotors from 80 different countries at this showcase. By creating new connections, we will have the opportunity to share Amazigh music with new audiences all over the world.
Travel, lodging, and logistics for an international performance like this are costly; one stipulations of the showcase is that bands cannot perform within a certain radius and date surrounding the event, and since we cannot set up another show while we are there, we need help from our fans, friends, and community!
How You Can Help
AZA has 7 dedicated members seeking to raise $12,000 to help cover:
* Flights and travel expenses from the US to Morocco
* Lodging and meals
* Instrument transport
Your donation—no matter how big or small—brings us one step closer to our goal.
