Hello everyone. I am Emily and the words I will share with you below are from my friend Ayoub. Ayoub, his wife Noor and their baby Amal are in Gaza.. and as most of you know, they are undergoing constant displacement and uncertainty of their survival. Violence surrounds them. Ayoub has asked me to share this story with you.

In a forgotten corner of this world, there stands a small tent, lonely amidst the trees and dirt in Rafah. Inside that tent lives a family whose dreams have been shattered under the weight of war and oppression. Ayoub and Noor, a couple who once dreamed of a simple life where peace and safety were part of their daily reality, now find themselves caught in a nightmare. The life they knew has vanished, leaving only fear and despair.

About 10 months ago, Noor collapsed in that cold and fragile tent, losing consciousness. Ayoub, with barely enough to survive, borrowed money to pay for a car ride to the nearest hospital. There, amidst walls worn by war, doctors informed him that both Noor and their unborn child were in grave danger. Time was not on their side, and an emergency cesarean section was performed. In the shadow of death, a baby girl named Amal -"Hope"- was born, the name carrying a feeling Ayoub struggles to feel.

Noor and Amal returned to the same tent that offers no protection from the biting cold or the harshness of life. Ayoub sits beside them, gazing at his newborn daughter's face, a child unaware that she was born into a world that cannot even provide her with a blanket to keep her warm. Noor remains in need of medical care, and little Amal requires nourishment and attention. But how can a man, forced into a life of helplessness, provide for them?

In a voice filled with sorrow, Ayoub says "I just want to escape. I want to take my wife and daughter away from this hell. I don't want them to live under a sky that rains bombs. I don't want my child to die form hunger or illness. I used to live a simple life, working and coming home to find safety. But now, there is no home, no safety, not even hope.

Ayoub dreams of fleeing to Turkey, where he might have a chance to rebuild a life for his small family. Yet he knows the road is fraught with challenges, the cost overwhelming, and he feels powerless against such a cruel fate. All he asks for is a chance to save his wife and daughter- to save what little remains of his life.

This campaign is a plea to save Ayoub, Noor and baby Amal. A call to give them a chance at life, far from fear, hunger and death. Will someone extend a helping hand to them?
