Hi my name is Ayooluwa Saba and this is my story. On the 28 of April 2024 I had a car accident that claimed 6 hours of my life. I was in coma for 6 hours and I didn’t know where I was. When I woke up I had stitches on my face and half of my mouth was gone. I had to come to the realization that this is what my facial feature will look like now. I drowned in depression and tried to unalive myself twice. I thought to myself, who will hire me looking like this, will I ever get someone to love me, looking like this. But then something good happened. I got admission into a very prestigious school in New York City and it made me feel like life was Turning on my side again. But the issue is how do I pay my tuition. I have applied to various jobs but it’s been one disappointment or the other. But as long as I’m alive I have faith and hope. That is why I reaching out for help. I want to go to school to become a doctor so I can help other kids and give them the same fighting chance that I got. Thank you so much.
