Help Ayleen Achieve Her Engineering Dreams
Donation protected
Hello Friends and Family! If you're able, please consider making a donation to a scholarship fund for a family friend, Ayleen, who is going to San Francisco State next year.
As a bit of background, Ayleen is the niece of Miriam (Zac's long-time nanny and a member of our family). Ayleen is 17 and one of the most amazing young women you'll ever meet. She's faced more challenges in her short 17 years than most of us have on our life journeys, and to say she's resilient is an understatement. She has amazing grades, is a competitive track star at her school, and is an amazing support to her mother and her younger brother, whom we've all known since he was born.
Ayleen was just admitted to the mechanical engineering program at SF State - and we're super excited for her! (And I'm pretty confident more acceptance letters are on their way.) We all know that education can provide amazing opportunities, but it can also come with many years of debt. I'd love to help minimize the impact on her life years after college by bringing together a community to support her in this journey and really help set her up for success.
Ayleen has been like a big sister to Zachary, and we've all grown to be part of their family over the years. I had the privilege of reading her college essays, meeting with her college counselor, and supporting her through the application process. I've never created a GoFundMe page, but if ever there were a deserving individual, Ayleen is it.
Thanks in advance!
