Help Ayla Rebuild After Devastating Fire

Dear Friends and Community,

We are reaching out to you today as early Tuesday morning Oct 15, 2024, my oldest daughter Ayla’s apartment complex was devastated by a structural fire in Minot ND, and while we are incredibly grateful that everyone (including her cats) is safe, the aftermath has left her facing significant challenges. Ayla was one of the 6 residents who were displaced and hit by this tragedy. The fire started in the unit below her apartment. My daughter lost not only most of her personal belongings but also her sense of security and normalcy. She was blessed to have renters insurance but as you know it only goes so far.

Ayla works with troubled youth in the community - always ensuring their needs are taken care of. Her dedication to serving others has made significant impacts to many lives. Now, we want to make sure her needs are taken care of so she can continue her important work!

We are seeking your support to help rebuild her life and restore some of what was lost. The funds raised will go towards replacing essential items, fees for cleaning out of her destroyed apartment, and securing a new living space. Additionally, we hope to provide her with a stable and comforting environment as we work to recover from this difficult time.

Your generosity, whether through donations or simply sharing this campaign, means the world to us. I know we have been asked for a list of items needed but right now we are currently working through and will update as we can. Space is limited in her hotel room so it might be a few days until she has a complete plan. Just know every contribution brings us one step closer to helping our daughter regain a sense of normalcy and hope for the future.
