This past week the devastating California wildfires destroyed the home of Aykui, our beloved friend and a dedicated nurse who has spent 15+ years caring for others in their time of need. As a frontline worker, Aykui has shown incredible resilience, compassion, and strength in the face of adversity, but now she finds herself facing an unimaginable loss.

In the wake of this tragedy, her work family is coming together to help Aykui rebuild her life and her home. We are aiming to raise $20,000 to assist with some of the costs of recovery. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference in helping Aykui get back on her feet and continue her life’s work as a nurse.
