Hi friends, my name is Fatema and I am fundraising for 18 year old Ayham Aburaida from Gaza who was unable to finish his final year of school.

Here are the words of Ayham himself:

“I am Ayham from Gaza, I am 18 years old, I was living a happy life with my beautiful family of 23 people (mother, father, siblings, nieces and nephews). I was a high school student. I aspired to complete my education and become a good person who would benefit his country and his family, but the damned war came and destroyed everything. It destroyed our homes, our source of income, our schools and our universities. It obliterated all my dreams and hopes, and my family and I began to move in tents from one place to another in search of safety. We no longer have a shelter, a future, or any of the necessities of life. A year of our lives was wasted in vain without any benefit or achievement. This is a very sad thing, so I ask you to help and save me and my family to escape the genocide that does not spare young or old, and to complete my education, achieve my dreams, and plant happiness in the heart of my family again in a safe country, and rebuild a decent life for us.”

Ayham wishes one day to use these generously donated funds to complete his final year of school and enrol in a university in Egypt when he gets the chance. Together we can make that dream happen for him!
