Help Aydien and his family

This young man and his family need your help. His family called the ambulance Tuesday January 2nd and he was taken to UNMC due to hallucinations and being delusional. They kept him there until Thursday saying there was absolutely nothing wrong with him when they got home his mother called his doctor who had to go through every hoop to get his records. Then when they got them they said she needed to bring him to children’s hospital as they have never seen labs like his and being discharged. Soon after they diagnosed him with MIS-C which is multi system inflammatory syndrome in children which happens after having covid-19 where their body thinks there is still an infection so it starts attacking his entire body systems. He is the 9th kid with a confirmed case here in Nebraska. He has been on life support since Saturday night due to his blood pressure crashing being 54/24. He has had two blood transfusions of red blood cells as well as blood platelets. He is getting a pick line today as well as a spinal tap to check for anything else going on. On the 4th of January her husband was fired due to “job abandonment” because he couldn’t go in due to them having three other kids at home and some having to be up there. Today they said if they run a test and he passed for his breathing he could possibly be taken off life support tomorrow. Howecer, multiple nurses and doctors told them for everyday he has been on the ventilator is a week to recover here meaning we will be here at least another 7 weeks. He is the slowest kid to recover they said and he is the worst case they have seen. He now has a heart murmur from a scale 0-6 it’s a 2 but if it gets to a 4 he will need open heart surgery and he also has a spot on his brain that is either from loss of oxygen to that part of the brain or inflammation meaning he may or may not be effected long term by that as well they are going to do a follow up MRI and echo multiple times to see where it is going for his heart as well as his brain. This family has been through so much and needs people to show their support in some way. This money would go to help them with anything medical they need to pay for as well as helping them with bills and other financial means as her husband lost his job trying to help his family and be there for his son. They also need this money to get back and forth from the hospital as well as anything their other children need. Destinee and keegan need your help for Aydien and for their other children as well.
