My name is Aya and I am 26 years old and from the northern Gaza Strip.

I once had a beautiful home, a loving family, my own office, and countless dreams and aspirations. I graduated with honors in Business Administration from Palestine University and worked with several companies, quickly building a promising career.

After earning my degree, I started my own business and excelled in my field. I was independent, with my own source of income, and full of hope for a future filled with success and prosperity.

But everything changed after October 7.

The war destroyed everything I had worked for. I lost my home, my job, and my source of income. Now, we live without electricity and struggle every day to survive amidst death, destruction, hunger, and a crippling siege. Prices for even the most basic necessities have skyrocketed, making survival even more difficult.

Since the war began, my family and I have been displaced more than ten times, constantly seeking refuge. I have lost many dear relatives and friends.

Despite all the difficult challenges I've faced over the past two years, I'm still trying to get back on my feet. I'm still searching for any chance of survival. I'm still looking for the light to shine again. I can't do it alone; we need your continued support to stand again.After two years of suffering and loss, I am reaching out for your help.

Everything we saved and held onto during this brutal war has been taken from us. Inflation has made it impossible to rebuild or even afford basic needs.
