Help Aya and Her Family Survive in Gaza

Hello, my name is Marta, and I am organizing this fundraiser to support Aya, her husband Majd, and their entire family, who are struggling to survive under extremely difficult and dangerous conditions in Gaza.

This campaign was originally created to help Aya and her daughters, but as the situation has worsened, it has become clear that support is urgently needed for the whole family, including Majd, who is making every possible effort to provide for them.

Their Story

Aya and Majd are parents to two very young children: a three-year-old little girl and a newborn baby, born in the midst of war. What should have been a time of care, safety, and recovery has instead become a daily struggle for survival.

Since the conflict began, the family has been forcibly displaced multiple times, moving from one place to another in search of relative safety. Each displacement has meant losing what little stability they had left — shelter, belongings, access to food, and any sense of normal life. They have lost their home, their income, and the ability to plan even one day ahead.

Their Daily Struggle to Survive

Every day requires enormous effort just to get through.

Aya spends her days holding daily life together under extreme conditions: caring for a newborn and a toddler, trying to secure water, preparing food with very limited resources, and protecting her children from fear, hunger, and exhaustion. Her work is invisible but constant, and essential for the family’s survival.

At the same time, her husband Majd is doing everything he can to support them. He spends his days searching for any possible source of money, food, fuel, and basic supplies, as well as ways to communicate with the outside world so the family can ask for help and remain connected. These efforts are dangerous, uncertain, and physically exhausting, yet he continues without stopping.

Together, Aya and Majd are making every possible effort to survive with dignity in a situation where food is scarce, prices are overwhelming, medical care is limited, and even communication is difficult to maintain.
