Help Aya and Her Family Survive in Gaza

My name is Ariel Collins and I live in Portland, OR. I am starting this fundraiser for Aya Raed Alaqraa, a 23-year-old trying to survive unimaginable circumstances in Gaza with her family.

This fundraiser will help support basic living necessities for 7 adults and 3 children. This family has endured unimaginable and unbearable suffering, and I urge you to please read Aya’s words below.

Hello everyone, my name is Aya and my family and I are facing incredibly difficult circumstances due to the devastating war. My family home was bombed, resulting in the loss of my grandfather and my uncle's entire family. The remaining family members are suffering from severe physical and emotional injuries.

The situation is dire, especially after losing our home entirely amidst rising living costs and skyrocketing prices. My family is large, consisting of 10 members, and they are now in urgent need of help to secure the basics of life. Through this campaign, we aim to raise funds to provide immediate assistance to me and my family, whether it be through temporary shelter, medical aid, or any other essential needs. We kindly ask for your support and hope that you can contribute to this campaign, as even the smallest donation can make a significant impact in improving our situation. Explanation of how funds will be used:

For essential items for daily living, including medicine or medical assistance, food, water, hygiene products and cleaning supplies, warm clothing and blankets, and temporary shelters such as tents and building materials to support the tent.

How funds will be distributed: Through a Bank of Palestine account belonging to the family.
