Hi, my name is Axton. I’m an 18 year old transgender man trying to take the next step in becoming who I truly am.

Right now, I’m struggling to find stable work, and I don’t have family support when it comes to my transition. This makes it really difficult to afford the care I need on my own.

I am raising money for top surgery and to legally change my name. My chest causes me intense dysphoria, and it’s something I can’t easily hide. Because of that, I’m often seen as someone I’m not, and it hurts in ways that are hard to put into words. Top surgery would allow me to feel more comfortable, confident, and at home in my own body.

Changing my legal name to Axton is just as important to me. Every time I have to use my old name on documents or in public settings, it feels like I’m being pulled away from who I really am. Having my real name recognized legally would give me a sense of relief, confidence, and identity that I’ve never fully had.
