Help Axis Disrupt finish Album

For years, our band Axis Disrupt had been working hard writing songs, playing shows, saving money for gear and recording projects. We dedicated a lot of our lives to music and had ambitions to release multiple albums, play as many shows as we could, and share as much of our music with our fans as possible. All of the money we would earn from playing shows and selling merchandise would  go towards producing more music and recordings, but it was often never enough. We all had full time jobs to support our music passion. 

In September of 2014, while preparing to track drums for the second full length album, our drummer, James, was blindsided by another vehicle on his way to the music store and suffered injuries that deemed him unfit to play drums. He wouldn’t have a definitive timeline for recovery, so the band planned to take a short break while he recovered. The symptoms from the injury still presist today. Against James’ wishes, the band wouldn’t go on without him. They would write new songs, plan for the next album and wait until James was fit enough to take the stage once again. 

The band has decided to start this go fund me to gain some financial support to complete the album. The drums are written, but are to be recorded by a session drummer. The rest of the album will be recorded by Axis Disrupt.
