On Monday, March 7th, around midnight, my brother, Axel Gonzalez (27 years old), suffered a serious stroke caused by a malformation of an artery connecting his spine to his cerebellum. This led to his body seizing up, cerebrospinal fluid leaking into his brain, and dangerous pressure buildup. Emergency surgery was required, along with a tube to drain the excess fluid.

Axel is now facing a long and difficult road to recovery. Doctors estimate he will need to remain in the ICU for at least four weeks, and even after that, extensive rehabilitation will be necessary.

We are asking for any support possible to help cover his mounting medical expenses and personal bills while he is unable to work. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in helping Axel and our family during this incredibly difficult time.

El lunes 7 de marzo, alrededor de la medianoche, mi hermano, Axel González (de 27 años), sufrió un grave derrame cerebral causado por una malformación en una arteria que conecta su columna vertebral con el cerebelo. Esto provocó que su cuerpo se paralizara, que el líquido cefalorraquídeo se filtrara en su cerebro y que se acumulara una presión peligrosa.
