My Labrador Retriever puppy, Axel, has been diagnosed with Osteochondritis Dissecans. It is a disease of the cartilage that causes lameness, soreness, and pain for my dog. The only effective treatment is surgery to be able to remove the defective cartilage. Without this surgery Axel will be in constant pain for the rest of his life, and this can unfortunately cause him to have to be put down at such a young age. Axel is only 7 months old, and has so much more life that he should be able to live to his fullest. I unfortunately am unable to handle his veterinarian bills on my own, and would be so grateful for any help. I would love to be able to give Axel the life he deserves, and be able to take away his pain. I would be devastated to see him go at such a young age. Thank you in advance, we both greatly appreciate it.
