On Wednesday November 3rd, 2021, Axel and his parents received news no one ever should, Axel had leukemia. After being loaded on Flight for Life and taken to Children’s Hospital in Aurora, Axel was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Tests have been completed to get a formal treatment plan and prognosis, which should come tomorrow (November 6th).

Axel is the kindest, most intelligent, adventure seeking, handsome boy you’ll ever meet. His mom and dad are such wonderful humans and have been right by his side every step of the way.
