Hi everyone, my mom in law, Awilda Wilson, lost her husband (my father in law) on May 24th to cancer after a 3.5 year battle. Rick Wilson is retired after 34+ years of service on the California Highway Patrol.
On May 26th, (1.5 days after Rick passed) a tornado touched down in Rogers, Arkansas (their town) causing major destruction. Luckily, Awilda’s home and office were spared but with damage that needs repairing. However, this has caused a situation where Awilda has many medical bills (from Dad’s care), funeral costs and home and office repair costs and the inability to open her practice until everything has been fixed. Going through this without Rick has been difficult, as he was always very hands on with anything that needed fixing.
It would be a great help to help her restoration costs, Dad’s final medical bills and some living expenses while she deals with losing Dad and recovering from this storm.
