Help Bring My Vision to Life!

Hi, I'm Frances Brunner, an award-winning BFA Fashion Design graduate from Kent State University, originally from Louisville, Kentucky. In recent years, I have had the honor of being an international finalist at the prestigious Redress Design Awards in Hong Kong, the world's largest sustainable fashion design competition. Building on that transformative experience, I created a 7-look collection as part of my Bachelor of Fine Arts program (pictured above), focusing on innovative and sustainable fashion. I am honored to be offered the opportunity to take the next step as an independent designer by showcasing my new collection on the international stage this April 2025.

My designs center around imagining a world that asks, "Who would we be without our limiting beliefs?" I am passionate about inspiring holistic embodiment of the individual by expanding societal expectations, reimagining internal narratives, and encouraging authentic self-expression through my designs. One of my core purposes is to make others feel seen and help them remember who they truly are, fostering a deep connection to their inner selves and embracing the beauty of what it means to be human.

This collection reimagines Southern tradition in America and perfectionism through transformation and growth. At its core is Deniim, a self-created textile from repurposed denim, alongside felted suiting, lace tablecloths, burlap, and Kentucky horseshoes—symbols of resilience and reinvention. A palette of faded blues, greys, and earthy neutrals echoes worn workwear, bridging past and future. Embracing luck and a softer masculinity, it encourages authentic self-expression and personal storytelling.

As I have personally explored where I came from and expanded the idea of who I want to become and where I would like to go, I hope this collection inspires you to do the same. To tell untold stories, uncover limitless potential, and embrace the expression and curiosity within yourself.
