Avto, aged 9, has been diagnosed with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, a rare genetic disorder characterised by extremely fragile bones. In 2021, he suffered multiple fractures, including a traumatic left forearm and bilateral traumatic wrist fractures. The struggle extends beyond these injuries, as he experiences chronic back and foot pain, complicating his day-to-day life significantly. Since 2022, Avto has relied on crutches for walking and has been wearing a stabiliser to support his body.

After a fall in 2022, he experienced multiple vertebral and sacral fractures, further intensifying his struggle. Avto also deals with calcium deficiency and osteoporosis. To combat these challenges and enhance his quality of life, Avto requires regular physiotherapy, swimming pool sessions, and specialised massages. Additionally, he often travels to France, as his primary medical specialists are based there.

Just this year alone, Avto's family has already spent around 15,000 euros on his treatments and related medical expenses.
