Hi, my name is Gloria, and I’m asking for your support to bring a deeply personal and powerful vision to life—Every Heart Beat Matters, a patient advocacy and navigation service rooted in compassion, trust, and real understanding of healthcare systems.

With over 20 years of hands-on experience in healthcare, I’ve worked alongside patients and providers across internal medicine, general surgery, cardiology, vascular, orthopedics, oncology, and palliative care. I’ve spent my career helping patients navigate their care—making sure appointments are scheduled, transportation is arranged, questions are answered, and that provider instructions are followed through.

I assist patients in understanding their imaging results and other aspects of their care by working closely with providers, helping ensure the medical information is communicated in a clear, compassionate, and patient-friendly way. I serve as a bridge between the clinical world and the everyday realities of the people receiving care.

I’ve also built strong relationships with providers, working together to reduce the medical gap by ensuring that the patient not only hears the plan but is equipped to act on it.

One thing has never changed:

My passion is patient care.

Now, as a single mother of three, I am stepping out on faith to build something of my own—not just to serve others, but to also create a business that allows me to be present in my children’s lives.

Every Heart Beat Matters is my calling and my leap of faith. It’s a service that will:

• Accompany patients to provider visits when needed

• Offer follow-up calls between appointments

• Help coordinate transportation, medication pickup, and access to community resources

• Work in partnership with medical professionals to ensure patients understand and follow through with their care

• Be a caring presence to those who may feel alone in the system—new moms, elderly patients, and anyone without a support system

The funds raised will help me:

• Legally register and launch the business

• Create marketing materials to connect with patients and clinics

• Purchase basic essentials for patients (like comfort kits, newborn items, pill organizers, etc.)

• Acquire a reliable vehicle to provide mobile support

• Build simple systems for secure recordkeeping and communication

This is truly a leap of faith.

I don’t know exactly where this road will take me, but I do know I’m dedicated to making Every Heart Beat Matters a reality. This dream allows me to care for others—and still care for my children. It allows me to do what I’ve always done best: serve with love, listen deeply, and be present for those who need someone in their corner.
